Dear Gens Family,
This past week was very sad for many of us. I especially felt this as a local who teaches at Bowman and is also a graduate of Gunn High School. This earth recently lost a wonderful individual. I remember teaching Quinn in 3rd grade. He was intelligent, had an exuberant personality, and a great sense of humor. He hurdled over many obstacles to graduate from great primary and secondary schools. I remember I used to call him the "Mighty Quinn" after the character from a movie of that name. He would always jump up and laugh with excitement when I called him that nickname in class. Those are my best memories of a great kid who sadly left this world sooner than expected. Quinn will always be loved and never forgotten. I give my deepest condolences to your family.

Dear Gens Family,
We are very sorry for the loss of Quinn. I remember Quinn as part of the Bowman class of 2010 and while I did not know him well, he impressed me as a young man with a sense of purpose and determination when I chaperoned the class skip day before graduation, and drove him home afterwards. We are so very sorry for your loss.

This is beyond words, but I think the best I can do is to say that Quinn touched many lives, and his kindness, grace, and good humor benefited all who were fortunate enough to know him. I hope he had some idea of how much he was loved, and how he touched all of our lives. I will miss him.

Dear Gens Family,
Quinn could always make me smile with his awesome sense of humor. We all have many fond memories from his beginning days at our school to the day of his 8th grade graduation. Quinn taught me how to be a better teacher with grace and understanding and I was and will always be so proud to have been one of his teachers.
My heart and prayers are with you all as you remember Quinn.

With Love,
Erin

I had the pleasure of working with Quinn at Gunn High School. A gentle soul who was so down to earth, and much loved by the staff at school. My condolences to all who he touched during his life. We are all the better for having known him.

I am very sorry for Quinns' death.
Last week when I was driving on Middle Field, I think I was him. He looked very good and I was very happy for that. Please let me know if there is something I can do for you.
